I chased a few severe storms near McAlester, OK. The chase was pleasant but underwhelming. Most of the storm speeds were close to 50 knots, so keeping up with them was difficult. I got some interesting shots of the baby blue belly of a severe storm. Most likely the blue color was caused by sunlight refracting off rain and hail. No tornadoes on any storms made this a somewhat disappointing event.
