After canceling our trip to White Sands the day before because storms were so good near Rosewell, NM, we decided to take another shot at it on this day. It's a good thing we did too, because we saw a mid-level funnel on a tiny LP cell within about 20 minutes of being at the park. We spent a couple hours racing up a down the dunes and exploring the area before some severe storms moved in and created a haboob (sand storm). It was a very rewarding "day off!"
