This was a great chase for Benn, Dave, and me. We got on a couple severe storms near Turkey, TX. We had some very intense lightning from a picnic lookout in the Caprock State Park. Our primary severe storm was later slammed by another severe storm behind it, enhancing the low level shear, and nearly putting down a tornado. No tornado developed, but it was close. I've never tried to take pictures of lightning before, but these pictures seemed to work out.
