So, we weren't even planning on chasing this day. The parameters looked incredibly marginal, and we didn't have much faith in the setup. But, on our way to White Sands National Monument, the structure of this cell caught our interest. When it went tornado warned about 30 minutes later, we were hooked for the rest of the day. It goes to show that even on the most marginal days in the high plains amazing things can happen. I don't think any other year has reinforced that idea more than this year.
