We finally bagged a tornado in Campo, CO! The day started out with messy storm modes all over Colorado and New Mexico. Fortunately, we stayed near our target area until 7 pm (which usually is magic hour with storms), and a cell to our west developed a lowering and strengthened rapidly. We drove slowly toward the lowering due to extremely slick, muddy roads. The ground scraping wallcloud developed a short-lived cone tornado before becoming a very beautiful bowing segment.
