Today turned out to be a big disappointment. We took a gamble on chasing the Palmer Divide in Colorado when we should have taken the bait on the more obvious target near Akron, CO. We were left with a fun chase, but we missed out on the landspout fest that everyone enjoyed. Most people saw about 10 landspouts and we got hail, structure, and a brief rotating wall cloud.
