Another weak chase day besides the National Weather Service and numerous media outlets hyping the event. I didn't expect much because of the veer-back-veer wind profiles, but I did expect at least one visual tornado. If not from Rafal and me, at least from some other chaser in any of the 4 of states people were chasing in. But alas, nothing to speak of. The most exciting moment of the chase was during our return to Tulsa, and the squall line triggering a tornado warning for Tulsa. Though I drove through some 70 mph straight-line winds and saw some power flashes, no tornadoes developed near me. Note the radar grabs.
