With few road options, this chase involved hours of watching from a distance and hoping for intercepts. We did have some nice structure and a few decent lightning strikes. The real finale occurred when we arrived in Lamar, CO and the storm went tornado warned while we were parked in its path watching it approach. Torrential flooding immediately impacted Lamar as lightning pounded the town and surrounding area.
