Dodge City was an epic day with the only drawback being that I wish we were closer. We targeted Ashland, KS. Once we got the thumb's up from the weather gods, we knew it was going to be a good day. The storm fired a few miles west of Ashland. The storm struggled at first. However, it soon became tornado-warned, and once I saw that an outflow boundary was being wrapped into the storm, I knew we were in business. One, two, and occasionally three tornadoes down at one time for over 45 minutes!
